Four areas in our research & development phase. Exploring new ways to locate, recognise and reconnect pets with their people.
01 / BLUETOOTH FINDINGIN R&D
Small tag. Less to worry about.
Bluetooth tracking
Researching a compact, low-power tag for nearby finding, with wider-area discovery through a compatible device network being evaluated.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
No mobile plan for the tag
Small, lightweight design
12-month battery-life target
We’re aiming for 12 months of battery life. Actual performance will depend on usage and testing; this is a development target, not a confirmed specification. Bluetooth relies on nearby compatible devices, not continuous live GPS tracking. Network access and size still need validation.

02 / CELLULAR GPSIN R&D
Follow their next move.
Live GPS tracking over mobile networks
Developing the direction for a dedicated GPS tracker that sends location updates over a mobile network, so owners could follow their pet’s movement on a map.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
Live location updates
Tracking beyond Bluetooth range
No nearby finder needed
Target capabilities under research. Requires a powered GPS device, satellite reception, mobile coverage and a data service. Update frequency, charging needs and service pricing are not yet confirmed.

03 / BIOMETRIC IDENTITYIN R&D
A nose. A new way to know.
Nose-scan pet identification
A missing or stolen dog may no longer have its collar or tags, and a microchip may not be available to identify it. Our goal is to compare a clear nose photo with a previously enrolled nose pattern—another possible way to recognise the dog.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
Photo-based matching without a collar or tag
Compare nose patterns with an enrolled profile
Help identify missing or stolen dogs
In R&D: requires prior enrolment and a sufficiently detailed nose image, not just any photo. Accuracy, consent and secure storage need validation. A potential match would need verification; it is not proof of ownership or a replacement for microchipping.

04 / SPATIAL CAPTUREIN R&D
Every side of their story.
360° full-body pet scanning
Create a full-body visual record before a dog goes missing. We’re researching whether a 360° scan could help compare later sighting photos with its shape, coat and markings—even when a collar, tag or usable microchip is no longer available.
WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
Record distinguishing features from every angle
Compare sighting photos with a saved 3D profile
Support searches for missing or stolen dogs
In R&D: photo-to-profile matching is not yet validated. Viewpoint, lighting, grooming and changes in appearance can affect comparisons. Potential matches would need verification; this is not automatic location tracking or proof of ownership.
